A little WTF? from The Badger

Nobody messes with The Badger. Nobody.

That pic is from the CyclingNews story, but if you haven't gotten a chance to read Hinault's explication of the detailed strategy by which Astana will be toppled, check out the interview on VeloNews.

Or, if you don't have the time, let me summarize it for you: "Just attack." That's his answer to everything, it seems, from how to deal with podium interlopers, to how to win the Tour, to how to open stuck jars of pickles. My high school football coach would be proud. (While simultaneously deriding the entire sport as sissified.)

Wow, your HS football coach has his own wikipedia page? We're you on the team that went 12-3 for the season?

Nope, I was on his first two teams: one which was the first winning season in a decade and the first to make the playoffs in as long, and the other (on which I actually played some and had a larger role in), which was Coach Smith's only losing season and generally a dark spot on his whole career. Ah, yes, my glory days...

This is why French cycling still sucks: Hinault just keeps berating and beating-down any Frenchmen with podium aspirations.

Also, Frenchmen may be robots. Or at least, may like to dance the robot. Probably while listing to Justice.
