Objectives and Goals
BCC members strive to improve the sport through friendly competition, promotion of responsible cycling, and development of the area's cycling community. We compete in cyclocross, mountain biking, road cycling, and multi-sport events locally and regionally. Additionally, we actively participate in community-based bicycle advocacy programs and are planning bicycle safety clinics for children and new riders. Perhaps our biggest presence is our visibility on local roads and trails, where we lead group rides for a range of abilities and promote responsible conduct and goodwill between members of Durham's diverse and growing cycling community.

Bull City Cycling (BCC) is a Durham-based cycling team dedicated to promoting the awareness of all forms of cycling in North Carolina's Research Triangle. BCC showcases cycling as an integral part of a healthy and environmentally-conscious way of life through transportation alternatives, fitness, and sportsmanship. BCC participates in community-based cycling activities ranging from advocacy to competition, and is officially recognized by USA Cycling.

ummm......holy. i sometimes have a hard time riding my bike in a straight line.....now people are riding on chains and fences......en serio.....

It's hard to choose the most amazing part of this guy's riding, but I've decided that the height he gets on his bunnyhop is absolutely phenomenal. I want it. I need it.
Also, this is a really weird bike -- part trials, part bmx? Interesting mix either way.

OK, I did a little research, and he's riding a 24" trials bike with bmx-influenced geometry. You can find a little more info here:

Pirate: any reason why the disc front but rim rear? Is that something all trials riders do?
Good question, but not one that I know the answer to. Maybe Dave does?
I do know that trials riders are the only ones who still ride Magura hydraulic rim brakes (I'm guessing that's what he has on the rear), and that those are sometimes paired with a disc front. I guess you wouldn't get spoke wind-up while you're hopping on the back wheel (like you do with discs), so maybe that's the reason? I dunno.
Regardless, it seems to be a pretty specific bike: 24" wheels, bmx-inspired trials geometry, with a seat, and then the weird brake thing. But the guy definitely earns the bike, so why the hell not? I guess.
I, on the other hand, am getting closer to breaking the 6" mark on my bunnyhop: oh happy day!
