Props if you can identify this legend. The term is overused, but this guy was legend before we even used that kind of language.

Indeed. I think Pineapple Bob was the first cyclocross personality I remember reading about--before I even really understood what cyclocross is all about. But there was something about his style (bespeckled, stylish, somewhat weird, not a PRO, but getting recognized for being out there and racing) that seemed to embody cyclocross made me know I needed to know about this thing.
