Objectives and Goals
BCC members strive to improve the sport through friendly competition, promotion of responsible cycling, and development of the area's cycling community. We compete in cyclocross, mountain biking, road cycling, and multi-sport events locally and regionally. Additionally, we actively participate in community-based bicycle advocacy programs and are planning bicycle safety clinics for children and new riders. Perhaps our biggest presence is our visibility on local roads and trails, where we lead group rides for a range of abilities and promote responsible conduct and goodwill between members of Durham's diverse and growing cycling community.
Mission Statement
Bull City Cycling (BCC) is a Durham-based cycling team dedicated to promoting the awareness of all forms of cycling in North Carolina's Research Triangle. BCC showcases cycling as an integral part of a healthy and environmentally-conscious way of life through transportation alternatives, fitness, and sportsmanship. BCC participates in community-based cycling activities ranging from advocacy to competition, and is officially recognized by USA Cycling.

I think we need a little more pizzaz? Or maybe we could post movies of princesses driving trucks? I like that idea. I wish I could make it to Charlotte this weekend.

Before he was Hollywood, he was a truck driving princess. If you recall, when we voted on H's nickname, one of the variations was "Princess Hollywood".
As for the design, having a chance to think on it for a couple of days, I'm nostalgic for the old "Durham: Renown the world round" banner and the wider margins and compressed columns of the old site. We may have given up some of what made us distinctive in adopting this new design, ATMO.

Please, please feel free to change whatever you like, I just thought we needed a fresh look for the new year. And I'm still working on setting up the 'monetizing', but I plan to have that routed into the BCC account. The whole dollar.
I generally like wider margins, but I think you're right Ali -- this might be a forum for smaller margins. I'll poke around a bit over the next few days and see what I turn up.

Just having a little fun, feel free to change it. I liked having the bubbles. I think it looks a little cleaner but still has a little soul. The banner I obviously take very seriously (it must not be changed).
