I haven't heard much from Pirate in a while. I know Albany's snow and ice continue, taking the wind out of the good Pirate's sails, at least in terms of cycling. Curious to discover what Pirate might be up to, I found this when I searched. I like the mustache, but it's going to take me a while to warm up to the longer, blonder locks. The throw-back concorde is super cool. I'll post a review after I give it a listen, but for now you can read the praise for this "classy album" here.

Wow. I just noticed the musical note on the airplane's tail fin. Awesome!
My secret identity has been blown! All this time you thought that I was working at a school in upstate NY, when in fact I've been getting back to my roots as a rough-n-tumble musician from the 70s, someone not afraid to kick it old school.
There's a rumor that we're supposed to break the freezing mark today, but I don't know that I'll be able to get out to ride. One thing that I have discovered is that the feeling of soreness that you get from your muscles atrophying is very similar to the feeling you get after a good hard workout, thus tricking you into thinking that you've exercised.
Other winter activities include trolling eBay for the parts necessary to overhaul my road bike and looking for new tires for Ali. If winter keeps on for very long I'll have the nicest CAAD7 on the block, and Ali will have put my email address on his spam list.
I hope that you guys get in a good ride tomorrow. I'll be thinking about you! (In a non-creepy kinda way.)
Pirate, I thought this was a training plan: more miles per hour! You're getting faster playing your sweet grooves.
Personally I like j.Miles' "Zaragon" phase:
